Portal & Website Terms of Use
Version 1 · Last updated August 14, 2026 · Effective August 14, 2026
These Terms of Use (the “Terms of Use”) govern your use of the trashlane.com website and of the pages TrashLane, LLC (“TrashLane,” “we,” “us”) hosts on behalf of waste-hauling businesses that use our software — the customer portal, hosted invoice payment pages, and the branded service-request and signup pages you reach from your hauler (together, the “Pages”). By using the Pages, you agree to these Terms of Use.
If you run a hauling business and have a TrashLane account, your use of TrashLane is governed by our Terms of Service instead. These Terms of Use do not apply to it.
Your relationship is with your hauler
TrashLane makes software for waste haulers. When you request service, view your account, or pay an invoice on one of the Pages, you are dealing with your hauler — not with TrashLane. Your hauler decides what services it offers, what it charges, when it picks up, how it handles a missed or damaged pickup, and what its own policies are. TrashLane hosts the Pages for your hauler and processes the information you submit on your hauler’s behalf and on its instructions.
Questions, complaints, refunds, service problems, and billing disputes go to your hauler. We can’t resolve them, and nothing here makes TrashLane responsible for your hauler’s services.
Using the Pages does not create a TrashLane account or subscription. These Terms of Use do not create any paid, recurring, or automatically renewing relationship between you and TrashLane, and TrashLane will not charge you anything for using the Pages.
Payments
Payments you make on a hosted payment page are processed by Stripe and go to your hauler. Your hauler, not TrashLane, is the merchant of record. TrashLane does not hold your funds and is not a bank, money transmitter, or payment processor. Card details go directly to Stripe; we never receive or store your full card number or bank credentials. Stripe handles that information under the Stripe Privacy Policy. Refunds, chargebacks, and payment disputes are between you, your hauler, and Stripe.
Messages you receive
Service notifications, invoices, receipts, and reminders sent from the Pages come from your hauler; TrashLane’s systems deliver them. Your hauler decides who is contacted and what the messages say. You can manage your notification preferences in the customer portal, though notices required for active service can’t be turned off. To stop hearing from your hauler entirely, or to correct how it contacts you, contact your hauler.
Acceptable use
Please use the Pages only for their intended purpose — arranging and managing service with your hauler. Don’t: use the Pages unlawfully or to harm anyone; submit information you don’t have the right to submit, or impersonate someone else; try to access another person’s account, records, or invoices; probe, scan, or interfere with the security or performance of the Pages; or scrape or copy them by automated means. We may suspend access to the Pages if we reasonably believe they’re being used this way.
Your information
Information you submit on the Pages — your name, contact details, service address, service history, and payment records — belongs to your hauler’s account, and we handle it for your hauler as its service provider. Our Privacy Policy explains what we collect and how we handle it. To access, correct, or delete the information your hauler holds about you, contact your hauler directly; we help haulers fulfill those requests.
Content on the Pages
Your hauler controls the content shown on its branded Pages, including prices, service descriptions, and terms it presents to you. We don’t verify that content. The Pages and the underlying software are TrashLane’s, and your hauler’s name, logo, and brand are your hauler’s.
Disclaimers and limits
The Pages are provided “as is” and “as available.” To the fullest extent permitted by law, TrashLane disclaims all warranties, express or implied, and does not warrant that the Pages will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure. TrashLane is not liable for your hauler’s services, pricing, conduct, or content, or for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Pages.
We are not responsible for how your hauler runs its business. Your hauler — not TrashLane — is responsible for complying with the laws and regulations that govern hauling, including waste collection, transportation, handling, and disposal requirements, licensing and permitting, environmental rules, and any rate or tariff regulation that applies to what it charges you. Your hauler is also responsible for the conduct of its drivers and staff, including safe operation of its vehicles and their use of mobile devices while driving. TrashLane makes software; we do not collect, transport, or dispose of anything, we do not set your hauler’s prices, and we do not supervise, direct, or verify your hauler’s operations.
Nothing in these Terms of Use limits any liability that cannot be limited under applicable law, or any rights you have under consumer-protection law. Some states do not allow certain disclaimers or limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you.
Changes, law, and contact
We may update these Terms of Use from time to time; changes take effect when posted with a revised “Last updated” date. These Terms of Use are governed by the laws of the State of New Hampshire, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules.
Questions about the Pages themselves — not about your hauling service — can go to support@trashlane.com or TrashLane, LLC, 4 Quail Drive, Raymond, NH 03077.
